I attended the New England Zine Fest this weekend. The Boston Hassle<\/a> organized the event that took place on August 16th at the Cambridge YMCA. It was great to see so many members of the Zine scene showing their work and I took the opportunity to score some swag.<\/p>\n

Black & Pink<\/a> is an organization that helps coordinate pen pal writers with LGBTQ prisoners. Their booth was also selling a zine of erotica written by LGBTQ prisoners.<\/p>\n

Ollie Miske was giving out free zines of selections from his web comic “Curing Cancer.<\/a>”<\/p>\n

I’d seen Halfling Zine<\/a> before at Aviary Gallery<\/a>, but I finally snatched up one of these great little photo zines for myself.<\/p>\n

Marissa Falco<\/p><\/div>\n

Even though I live just over the border into Medford, Somerville has my heart, so I had to buy this sweet postcard of the Seven Hills by Marissa Falco<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pleasure Pie<\/p><\/div>\n

With all the media control of nipples, I just had to have this whimsical endorsement of all that is the nipple by Pleasure Pie.<\/a>\u00a0Other highlights at their booth included the “Choose Your Own Consensual Adventure” zine.<\/p>\n

Louis Roe<\/p><\/div>\n

Finally, I love loved the bright colors and line work of all the prints by Louis Roe<\/a>, it was hard to choose just one.<\/p>\n
