I attended the New England Zine Fest this weekend. The Boston Hassle organized the event that took place on August 16th at the Cambridge YMCA. It was great to see so many members of the Zine scene showing their work and I took the opportunity to score some swag.

I’d seen Halfling Zine before at Aviary Gallery, but I finally snatched up one of these great little photo zines for myself.

Marissa Falco

Even though I live just over the border into Medford, Somerville has my heart, so I had to buy this sweet postcard of the Seven Hills by Marissa Falco.

Pleasure Pie

Pleasure Pie

With all the media control of nipples, I just had to have this whimsical endorsement of all that is the nipple by Pleasure Pie.¬†Other highlights at their booth included the “Choose Your Own Consensual Adventure” zine.

Finally, I love loved the bright colors and line work of all the prints by Louis Roe, it was hard to choose just one.

Don’t forget to read the Boston Hassle, the awesome resource that brings you news on music and art and that puts on super cool events like Zine Fests!
